A teacher came in because she was sure she had lice because one of her students has lice and she had found one strange looking thing in her hair that wouldn't move. Nits, which are the lice eggs, are not white. They sometimes appear white in the hair, but once you remove it, it should look brown. If it is not brown, it is not a nit. Nits are also not flat, and they will making a popping sound if you pop them. The teacher was so relieved that she didn't have it, but she told me that a lot of the information being told in the school was wrong. She took information about head lice and said they need a professional to come in and educate them on head lice. Since here at Hair Fairies we also do workshops we can definitely help them so that they can get the CORRECT information they need.
