Finding out you have head lice can be a very scary thing. With so much contradicting information. you don’t know what to think. Did I do something wrong to get this? What do I do now? Why me? These are just a few things one may ask themselves when finding out you have head lice.
Recently, a family had come in because their child had been sent home with head lice. While we were treating them, you could tell they felt horrible. But then, another family they knew came in, and everything changed. They no longer felt alone in the situation. They realized there is nothing they could have done to totally prevent head lice. Sure you can use prevention oil, keep the hair up and tight, and talk about boundaries but its as common as catching a cold. Once they realized they were not alone, their whole vibe changed.
