A family came to Hair Fairies because both of their daughters were itchy, and they felt that the girls may have head lice but the school nurse had checked the girls numerous times and said that the girls just needed a dandruff shampoo. Months had gone by using the dandruff shampoo, and the girls were still itching. The older daughter was developing a large allergic reaction to the bites, and started getting hives behind her ears and neck. The family were desperate not knowing what to do. Their younger daughter was due for her regular check up and the pediatrician referred her to Head Lice Professionals called Hair Fairies. The whole family was checked and everyone had it. Once we were done, we were able to conclude that they had gotten head lice more than 6 months ago. The nurse which is very good at what she does is not a Head Lice Professional and was telling the family that the girls did not have head lice when they in fact did. The older daughter gave me a hug when they returned. She was so happy that the itchiness from her head had gone away.
