Hair Fairies Nit-Zapping Head Lice removal treatment can also be a �fabulous detangling session!�

We had an awesome client today at our San Francisco lice salon who mentioned how our Nit Zapping Process- Our very own head lice removal treatment process, not only treats head lice but is a really great detangle session for the hair!  She said, “This is such a fabulous de-tangling session,” and we all chuckled.   On top of this clients are also saying it can be quite a relaxing scalp massage.  Here’s why!  Our Nit Zapping process works effectively to remove the nits and bugs from the hair by using a combing out method with our lice comb and our all Non-toxic Conditioning Clenz Cream.  We apply just enough the right kind of pressure that will help remove lice but also that all the hair is combed thoroughly in all directions.  The process ensures that all the hair is covered by combing the scalp and hair through and through.   No wonder why clients tell us how it can be a relaxing experience.   It should be.  Head Lice can be managed and taken care, so we would like to make this whole experience educational, taken care of, and nurturing.  Just like a massage!

�Snuffles visits us at Hair Fairies-San Francisco�

Our Colleague Josephine has a new puppy and his name is Snuffles! Kids loved him when he was around for just a half day at our Head Lice Salon. Pets give us so much joy and relief sometimes when we are dealing with stressful (lice) situations where we have no control. Snuffles is an example where he had put our younger clients at ease. We wonder how exciting it would be if all our Hair Fairies lice salons in Los Angeles, San Diego, New York, Chicago, and Connecticut could have a pet like Snuffles around. Life would be more less stressful! Our little friend would ward off the stress of dealing with lice. Pets and animals in general cannot get the human form of head lice. The Head Lice that we treat at Hair Fairies-The Head Lice Helpers only pertains to the scalp and hair on a human head. It’s pretty interesting stuff! A Purple Fairy for the Hair Fairies in San Francisco!

We would like to thank a very special someone whom has given us this very special purple fairy to hang at our lice treatment salon in San Francisco!  We always keep our clients personal information safe and confidential so this person will be named the purple fairy. Thank you for this bell which we will call "Purple Hair Fairy" from now on.  It will add a special touch to our d�cor.  We have lots of fairy artworks and pieces at each one of our head lice removal salon locations nationwide.  We do this to help ease children and families alike.  Coming in and meeting us should be a pleasant experience overall.  If you think you have any fairy items that you would help finesse our hair fairies d�cor, please bring it in for a little show and tell! The process of killing lice sounds like pretty unpleasant experience, but we go out of our way to make it fun as well as effective.   Smiles,

�Gifts from Hawaii for our Hair Fairies Team in San Francisco!�

Lena, our colleague at our Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment salon, went to Hawaii and had presented us with these when she came back!  We are happy for the kisses, utterly excited for the macadamia madness, and super stoked to hear she had lots fun with her partner.  Lena came back just this week and we missed her absence!  We are a real team here at Hair Fairies.  So when one of us leaves we feel their absence…in a good way.  The lice probably do too!  Heehee We are fortunate to receive gifts from our fellow Hair Fairies lice technicians whenever one of us goes on a far away trip.  We have had shot glasses and bottle openers from Diana on her trip to Mexico and Kyle from his cruise. Wonder what future gifts we would be receiving on our next adventure!  

“Can we go back to Hair Fairies Mom?” -Hair Fairies San Francisco

"Can we go back to Hair Fairies, Mom?,"  a kid asked his mother upon finishing treatment for Head Lice.  It's quite humbling and endearing to have our clients come out of this whole head lice removal experience: better educated, equipped with the true facts about head lice AND cured of their seemingly insurmountable problem. The child's mother also told us that her son didn't want to leave Hair Fairies. Apparently our toys, movies, snacks and service kept him more than content even though he was there to have lice removed.  The kid also enjoyed the different interactions with our Hair Fairies lice technicians.  His mom actually told us that they usually pass by Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment salon on their way to school in the morning and her son felt sad they weren't really coming into Hair Fairies for a visit. This leads me to our famous last words:  We really enjoyed getting to know you and hopefully you will never see us again…smiles :I

�New toys at Hair Fairies the Head Lice Helpers-San Francisco!�

Our Lovely Hair Fairy technician- Josephine brought in these cute toys for the kids to play with while we treat and or check them for head lice!  There’s a Buzz Light Year- MR. Potato Head from Disney’s Toy Story, brain Quest Game, and an all in one Doctor’s Kit toy set for kids to play doctor!  There’s also another stuffed Buzz Light year doll!  If you have the opportunity to come visit us at our Hair Fairies head lice removal salon in San Francisco, you would see a large array of DVDs, books, and magazines. We have portable DVD players for each child to watch their own movies. We have kid friendly books for the kids and Nintendo DS’s.  These new toys will help boost more excitement and playtime for the kids here at our Hair Fairies San Francisco lice removal salon!  If you have new  toys, DVDs, and games that you would like to donate, please contact the manager at your nearest Hair Fairies the Head Lice Helpers location.  We welcome these donations. Well if you haven't, hear it exclusively in this blog!  On Monday April 16th, 2012 we are offering free head lice screenings for the day with a booked appointment.  Please make sure to call us and book a FREE head lice screening at any one of our locations. We seldom get a cancellation or a no show for our head lice screenings, but if you do have a booked appointment and need to cancel please call us 24 hour in advance. Our free head lice screenings are high in demand and fill in pretty quickly therefore as a courtesy to all of our clients who actually take advantage of our free head lice screenings, be aware that a late/or  a no show to your scheduled appointment will incur a $30 cancellation fee. �Smiles from an old Colleague at the Hair Fairies Lice Removal Salon in San Fransisco!�

It was great to see a familiar face coming into our establishment today!  An old Colleague of mine, Jenna AKA Chris, stopped by Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment salon to say hello and also gave us all warm hugs.  We cherish our employees and it is always nice to have them visit us once in awhile and just to catch up. And we were inwardly happy that she was just stopping by to say ‘hi’ rather than to enjoy our lice removal services!  We can say that all of the Hair Fairies who had worked with us before had a nice experience and time here. All smiles!

Hair Fairies- San Francisco New Awning!

Here yee! Here yee! Read and see all about it!  Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment salon is delighted to present you with our new Hair Fairies Awning installed just yesterday at our location.  An Awning speaks for itself!  And ours speaks, "I’m beautiful and mean business!" Our old Awning was taken down last Saturday and we have gotten 4 moms telling us how we were missing an awning.  On top of that, they didn’t know where we were without the awning. Now, clients old and new, are able to locate us when they need help with lice removal or just want to stop by and say “Hi.” Hair Fairies-San Francisco is located in the Pacific Heights neighborhood, at 2238 Fillmore Street,  between Sacramento and Clay Street.  We are right next to Le Labo- a perfumery that also focuses on natural ingredients like us!

It was a pleasure to have served many of the schools who have been inviting us to do 2 FREE Hours of Head Lice Screenings in the past few weeks!  We had a very awesome testimonial from a client (who will be nameless) on how thankful she is to have Hair Fairies come in and screen several of the classes at her school.    She states, “I cannot thank you enough for dedicating two days to our school! We had many cases, and your team made the lice detection process easy and quick! The teachers were very pleased that they could get checked too, and they appreciated the tactful way that your staff handled the situation.”   If you haven’t been informed, lice removal and detection is what we are known for!  Hair Fairies offers 2 Hours of complimentary head lice screenings to schools to help in checking kids when a head lice outbreak is occurs.  We screen up to 30 to 40 heads in one hour.  We also check teachers and school faculty.   Thank you again for those who have been referring us to schools because Hair Fairies cannot do it alone.  We need your help in educating and informing other parents on the specific details on how lice is transmitted, and how schools may want to offer more resources for parents who are sometimes in a challenging situation when dealing with the Head Lice Situation.
