We’re excited about all the Camp Screenings!

We have our 1st camp screening of the year on June 26, the excitement here in Fairfield is electrifying! Why you ask? Last year we screened over 500 campers just at one campsite! The best part was meeting campers from so many different countries and seeing the smiles on their faces once they were told they were lice-free! How do I sign up my camp, you ask? Well it’s easy! Hair Fairies New York is now open late, feel free to book your appointments after work. No need to rush or leave work early.. We are now open Monday – Friday 9am- 8pm Saturdays 10am -6pm Sundays 11am – 2pm.

He’s a Keeper if He Can Nit-Pick

Here at Hair Fairies – The Original Head Lice Helpers we treat all kinds of individuals because head lice do not discriminate! But sometimes boyfriends and husbands are put to the test by their loved ones when treating head lice at home. Having to part the hair and run a fine-toothed metal comb across thick head of long hair has proven to be quite challenging to some dads, husbands, boyfriends, etc. So when a young adult came into the salon for a head lice screening, she mentioned her live-in boyfriend spent over 4 HOURS combing through her gorgeous thick hair. She said he pulled out a considerable amount of bugs and nits. We were in complete shock she no longer had visible activity in her hair! We still recommended a follow-up check to make sure it was all gone. If your beloved can nit-pick and delouse your hair — he’s a keeper!
