Does Heat Kill Head Lice?

As California enters summer with record-breaking heat, you would think it would make things uncomfortable for head lice, right? WRONG. Many people think that high heat will kill head lice and their eggs. So, drying your laundry on high heat for 40+ minutes isn’t effective or eco-friendly when there is heatwave going on.   Save yourself some time and money and get our amazing Hair Fairies – The Head Lice Helpers Eucalyptus Laundry Detergent: http://staging.hairfairies.com/product/eucalyptus-laundry-detergent/   Tough on lice but gentle our your clothes, this industrial-strength detergent can be used with cold water and is HE (high-efficiency) compatible.

It’s time to get you child’s school involved.

We’re excited about all the Camp Screenings!

We have our 1st camp screening of the year on June 26, the excitement here in Fairfield is electrifying! Why you ask? Last year we screened over 500 campers just at one campsite! The best part was meeting campers from so many different countries and seeing the smiles on their faces once they were told they were lice-free! How do I sign up my camp, you ask? Well it’s easy! Just call us at 203-259-LICE or email us at ctmanager@hairfairies.com and we would be happy to be of service!
