He’s a Keeper if He Can Nit-Pick

Here at Hair Fairies – The Original Head Lice Helpers we treat all kinds of individuals because head lice do not discriminate! But sometimes boyfriends and husbands are put to the test by their loved ones when treating head lice at home. Having to part the hair and run a fine-toothed metal comb across thick head of long hair has proven to be quite challenging to some dads, husbands, boyfriends, etc. So when a young adult came into the salon for a head lice screening, she mentioned her live-in boyfriend spent over 4 HOURS combing through her gorgeous thick hair. She said he pulled out a considerable amount of bugs and nits. We were in complete shock she no longer had visible activity in her hair! We still recommended a follow-up check to make sure it was all gone. If your beloved can nit-pick and delouse your hair — he’s a keeper!  

Prevention

Just a few weeks away from camp season, make sure you screen your child right before camp to avoid your child being sent home ruining their first week of camp.. Check your local Hair Fairies for upcoming free screening dates..

Summer Screenings!

Just because it’s the end of the school year doesn’t mean you can’t catch lice! Right when school ends you start summer camp, hang with friends more, or travel in or out of the country. These are the times when lice tend to be spread. Be sure to keep your hair up in buns or braids and reduce any head-to-head contact as much as you can. The Best at What I do

I’m trying to be the best at what I do which means wearing a lot of different hats when running a company. I recently decided to personally learn how to run our Google Adwords Campaign so when I do hire a specialist I can speak their jargon and excel even further. It’s a true never ending labyrinth of knowledge and to be honest I have to take a very deep breath before making the call. It’s complicated and takes much willingness and desire to learn while working with a variety of personalities over the phone. The best way to do this is call Google everyday and work with a different representative everyday for a minimum of 1.5 hours. They are ready and willing but boy you better be on top of your game. They move fast! I returned from an highly productive amazing trip to Portland visiting a manger and store there this weekend and came home to this…. My kids have stated “it’s ours, Mommy!” Hair Fairies – the head lice helpers you make me a better person everyday! Thanks, Maria

This is the life

“This Is the Life” A first grade little girl, while sitting in the chair for head lice removal said, “This is the life, eating Cheetos, watching a movie while having your hair done.” After listening to her say that, everyone started laughing and her mom was happy to know that her little one was having such a great time enjoying her time at Hair Fairies!!!
