At Hair Fairies, we pride ourselves on our products, which we make from natural, non-toxic ingredients. They include such herbs and plants as yarrow, cucumber, marshmallow root, lemongrass, mint, sage and aloe vera. Plus healing oils made from herbal extracts — tea tree, lavender, peppermint and eucalyptus. Our plant-based recipes are safe for you and your child — and they’ve proven effective in treating head lice and eggs and preventing their return.
ECO-CONSCIOUS MANUFACTURING
We make our products in small batches to keep our ingredients fresh and naturally potent — without preservatives for longer shelf life. To maintain purity, we also deionize our water to achieve a high microbial testing count of 10 (a typical norm is between 300-400). Deionized water is a type of purified water with mineral ions (salts) removed. Such salts are the source of most of the impurities in water.
Hair Fairies is committed to the highest standards of environmentally conscious manufacturing. We hold a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification, NSF (National Sanitation Foundation) Compliance for product safety and USDA Organic Certification.
Our goal: to produce the highest quality products while reducing waste, water and energy use, raw materials and packaging. At least 30% of our electricity comes from natural renewable sources, such as water and wind.
