A mom tells us how she deep conditions her daughter's hair every month. When the deep conditioning treatment is complete gets ready to blow dry her hair. She stops dead in her track. This time there's something different. She sees 4 black dots that look like sesame seeds on her daughters head. She turns to look at the water in the bathtub and sees the same sesame seeds floating in the water.  There's a sligght difference, these have moving legs. She takes a closer look and assumes they are "fleas". She thinks that her daughter may have contracted fleas from her sister's dog. Asumming that the deep conditioning got the fleas out, they continue their days with their normal routine. The routine stops when she receives a call from a fellow (best friend) mom. She was advising her that she found head lice on her own daughter. At that point mom remembers the "floating fleas". Could they had ben head lice and not fleas? In a panic, she runs to her computer to look for different types of bugs that people can get on their head. She was shocked when she found the "floating fleas". They definitely weren't "fleas". They were in fact head lice.

To avoid another state of panic she reasons with herself, "Maybe the deep conditioning got rid of the head lice". She then looks through her daughter's head and doesn't see anything out of the ordinary. Just when she thinks her daugther is in the clear, she sees something move really fast through the hair. She gets back on her computer and starts searching for natural ways to get rid of head lice. To her surprise she found that there were many head lice treatment companies that help to get rid of head lice the natural way. That seemed to be the best option.

She calls Hair Fairies the Head Lice Helpers lice treatment salon in New York city and books an appointment for herself and her daughter. She was distraught and disheartened when she received the news that she in fact also had head lice. She broke down into tears. Her Hair Fairies technician reassured her and educated her on the topic of head lice

Two head lice treatments later and very educated on the topic of head lice, they were done.

She now takes advantage of Hair Fairies' free head lice screenings once a month. We now laugh at the whole ordeal. When she comes in we joke about us looking for "fleas" instead of "head lice". The crying mom is now a laughing mom.
