Donate Lice Free Hair
At the Hair Fairies Lice Treatment Salon in Chicago we had a client with super long hair…about 10 feet long. She was a pre-teen and has never had a haircut in her life! When mom received the call from school that her daughter was found with Head Lice she was frantic. She brought her to Hair Fairies right away. After all her treatments were completed and every person in the household was screened for head lice by Hair Fairies, mom felt a lot better. 2 weeks later…they came back for their Guarantee lice checks. Again nothing was found. All the lice removal technicians were admiring her hair. It is long, blond and well taken care of. The daughter said, “After this last check we decided to donate my hair. Me and my best friend, who I got Head Lice from are going to do it together." She is donating it to Locks of Love. Locks of Love is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. Sometimes there is a reason why things happen. Positive things. Every cloud has a silver lining. We told her to send us a picture of her new hair style, or come in to show off her new hairdo! How wonderful!!
