“Lice to meet you!” is the phrase Mike Rowe, Discovery Channel’s, “Dirty Jobs” host, used when he came to our Hair Fairies Head lice salon in San Francisco. It was one of the most memorable experiences we had, educating the public on what we do as a full service head lice salon on TV!
The show was a hit and we have gotten a lot of calls when the show first aired. Even today, we would receive calls from Arizona, Alaska, Florida, and basically all over the United States from people who had watched the segment on lice removal.
If you haven’t checked or watched Hair Fairies – the head lice helpers on Dirty Jobs on The Discovery channel, make sure you check your TV listings for Re-runs. There were things that happened that were surprisingly good and entertaining, while educating about lice all at the same time! In that regard, it was a very “Lice to Meet You” kind of moment!
