My favorite hair place!!!

My favorite hair place!!! We had a fun time with a mom at our Hair Fairies salon in CT. She said "You guys must feel very proud of yourselves the way you handle kids. You have my daughter saying this is her favorite hair place in the world. I wish the hair salon i take her to get her hair cut was this nice… you should open a hair salon for kids as well. You guys are fantastic!!!" The mom was happy to know that they were all lice free after our treatments and she said she wouldn't hesitate for a second to come back here if they ever got head lice again. The kids positive opinion's matter to us because they are sincere and it shows that we at Hair Fairies are doing our job, which is to rid you of head lice while having a good time!!!

Hair Fairies Care! San Francisco Hair Fairies

This week, we at Hair Fairies in San Francisco, had the wonderful experience of being able to provide help, education and comfort to people who can't afford our salon services. With the dedicated assistance of a public school guidance counselor, we were able to put together a workshop for parents, teaching them how to treat their children and homes for head lice. Together with the school, who invested in this problem for their families, we were able to provide these parents with products at wholesale prices. Along with the demonstration and the questions we were able to answer, these parents are now prepared to handle head lice calmly and with minimal stress. Both the families and school were very happy and thanked us warmly for making the extra effort to bring these solutions to them.

“School workshop tonight! – Hair Fairies San Francisco

We are happy to announce that we are doing a workshop this evening at a school!  We were invited by a parent who got us in to do a workshop at her school in the previous weeks.  We were able to work with the school to provide help, educate, and offer products.  It went well so she wanted to have us go do a workshop seminar at her other child's school!!!! We were requested to go over lice prevention, treatment, questions and answers.  We have samples to show and Folders, letters, and products for parents to check out!

halloween is near

  Halloween is near, With Halloween around the corner everyone is excited including our Hair Fairies salon in CT. Our salon is beautifully decorated. We've gotten many compliments from our clients. We have also shared with them our thoughts on what costumes we should wear for Halloween and what they want to be for this special holiday. I must say that for this year the angels are winning since many of the children want to dress as one. As always Hair Fairies is huge on advise…so we want to let you know that when trying on costumes beware of the Head Lice since they are little vampires of nature!!!

A Client’s Proposal

Just the other day one of our female technicians was working on a little girl. The mother was so overwhelmed by how much activity we found on the girl she came up to the technician and said “I would marry you…actually can I marry you?” It was a great laugh for the client and technician. You've Got Lice??? We'll take care of it!!!   Often when people call our Hair Fairies Lice Treatment Salon in CT, they ask if we treat babies or grandparents for lice. Most people think there's a specific age range for getting head lice…well let me tell you– anyone can get head lice. We at Hair Fairies will get rid of your lice problems no matter how young or old or severe or moderate you are. If it is head lice you are dealing with, then Hair Fairies is the right place to be!!! Our motto: care, nurture and educate…and that's exactly what we will do.

Here's A Toast to the Close NIT Families and Friends Nothing is wrong with being close with your family or friends and wanting to share. Here at Hair Fairies the Head Lice Helpers Inc, we want to give you some safe preventive ways in keeping lice away. If a member becomes infected: 1) No sharing combs, hair ties and brushes 2) Using our Prevention Oil around the hairline and tying your hair up in a braid or bun (DON'T FORGET TO WASH HANDS AFTER).   3)Check your kids (dry& wet comb through monthly.)   4)Teaching kids about boundaries everyday they go to school, have a play date and/or going to be around a large amount of kids. -HFChi

Glitter!

We had a family come in to Hair Fairies since they had an outbreak at school. Mom wanted her daughters to be checked since they had a sleepover the weekend before.  Mom had gotten the word out that she was taking a trip to Hair Fairies so all the girls from the sleepover decided to tag along. We had 4 pre-teen girls hanging out in the chairs talking about all the fun they had at the sleepover and how they wanted to do it again. The moms on the other hand were a bit more cautious about the girls hanging out while there was an outbreak at school. We told them it was perfectly fine for them to continue with their regular routine. Every mom took one of our prevention oils to use every morning on each girl and they assured us they would all be wearing their hair up in buns or braids until they were married! Glad to say that every girl was lice free. All we found on their heads was tons of glitter and of course glitter, is always better than lice!

Don’t be afraid of the fairies

Don't be afraid of the Hair Fairies A ten year old girl came to our Hair Fairies Lice Treatment Salon here in CT to have a lice removal treatment. During this time she shared with us that she couldn't sleep the night before, thinking that we were going to turn her away because of how bad her lice infestation was. Her family had been battling head lice for almost two years before they came to us without any success. She was very happy to find out that her lice problem was going to go away after our lice removal process and that we were not going to turn her away. This is what she wrote in our blackboard-

“Hairdo at Hair Fairies made headlines at vacay!” HF SF

We had a mother who came in yesterday who was a returning customer. She was clear of head lice when we checked her yesterday but wanted to get screened again…kind of like a prophylactic check. We were pleased to hear that she really enjoyed her hairdo the previous times she had come in and she actually wore it on her trip to South America. She even asked her stylists and friends to recreate our hairdo. It was two French braids with a zig zag parting. The two braided ends were wrapped around her nape in a nice intricate bun. We joke and laughed that if people ever just wanted to come in to pay for a wonderful scalp massage and hairdo session plus a head lice screening (all in one) then Hair Fairies can be the right place :-)
