Buns and Braids, we do them all here at Hair Fairies San Francisco

Our lovely technician gave one of our clients two pretty braids with a zig zag part.  Picture Princess Leia from Star Wars, but an updated version with Princess Leia Buns, braided, and with cool parts on our little kiddo!  His Dad loved the hairdo and he loved his hairdo as well!!! Our technician was embarrassed when she knew her client turned out to be a boy.  However, her little client didn't seem to mind, nor his dad.  All smiles here!

“Kiddos at Hair Fairies San Francisco do not want to leave”

We just heard the cutest and amazing thing Monday from our kiddos.  A dad asked his two kids if they were ready to leave Hair Fairies, and they said, "We don't want to leave just yet!"  We had finished their treatments 15 minutes ago and the girls were playing and watching their movies in our toy area.  We had their 2nd appointment today with the same girls and once they were cleared of Head Lice, one of them did not want to leave her chair.  She kept saying, "I don't want to leave" 

“Lena goes from Hair Fairies from Hawaii and back!” HF SF

Our very own Hair Fairy went to Hawaii and she came back with these!!!! Lena knew her team wanted Macadamia nuts and chocolates, and more chocolates with macadamias… so she brought back all of these for us to share!!! Thank you Lena and what a way to bring a little essence from Hawaii into these gifts!!! Much appreciated and we are down to two snacks out of the five 🙂

Our DVD collection is Growing!

    Hair Fairies can never have enough DVD movies considering our clients may have to come back a couple times for treatment. Or if they get it multiple times they return to us for treatment again. Last month, during a conversation, one of our technicians mentioned to a client (who loves us!) that her favorite movie of all time was “The Sandlot” and the client agreed it was a great movie. Last week, Hair Fairies received a package and inside was a DVD copy of the “The Sandlot” for us to add to our collection! We were thrilled that a client would actually remember and send us a copy of the movie. Now we have another movie for clients to watch and even for some of our employees who have not yet seen the movie. Thank you so much! Hair Fairies welcomes any DVD’s that families would love to donate to us. We truly do appreciate it!  Thanks for being so appreciative…

“Come see us at: Children’s Health Expo- FREE Health Screenings and Head Lice Screenings with Hair Fairies Inc!” San Francisco

Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment center is happy to announce that we will be attending this year's Children's Health Expo on April 7th, 2013 at the San Francisco Adventist School- 66 Geneva Ave., San Francisco 94112 from 12 pm to 4 pm. There will be FREE Health Screenings open to the public.  Services like Dental, Vision, Speech, and Hearing will be offered from the Bay Area's Health centers.  We will have our very own Booth!  We will be offering Free Head Lice checks for children and Families.  This will mark our first participation this year with Health Expo.  Last year, the expo held Free Health checks for adults.  This time around, they are offering services to Children.  We strive to help educate the public about head lice and being proactive on Health in general which Hair Fairies believes is… Key!

“To a Louse”- Poem- from Poet Robert Burns” Hair Fairies San Francisco

We had a client (a grandfather) who recommend a poem called "To a Louse" from a Scottish Poet name Robert Burns.  In the poem a louse is found in a woman's bonnet. The poet chastises the louse for not realizing how important his host is. He then realizes that to a louse we are all equal prey. He finally has the understanding that if we could see ourselves through others eyes (or the eyes of lice) we would lose our pretentions all together. O wad some Pow'r the giftie gie us To see oursels as ithers see us! It wad frae mony a blunder free us, An' foolish notion: What airs in dress an' gait wad lea'e us, An' ev'n devotion! English Translation: And would some Power the small gift give us To see ourselves as others see us! It would from many a blunder free us, And foolish notion: What airs in dress and gait would leave us, And even devotion! Fascinating and very philosophically natured!  We love it so much!  Thanks Mr. Grandfather client in recommending this to us!

Our little Hair Fairies clients drew us pictures to put on our wall for the season!  We deeply appreciate these generous gifts.  If you step into any of our Hair Fairies Head Lice Salon Locations nationwide you'll get to see an abundance and array of different picture drawings.  Recently, after we treated a family for lice, the two daughters came up to one of our hair fairy technicians and presented these drawings.  Thank you and we'll gladly hang these onto our wall!  AND we love that they recommend us!! This is how San Francisco Salon celebrated our 14th Birthday!

Happy birthday to Hair Fairies! We can’t believe 14 years has passed by us so quickly! It was a pleasant surprise for all our technicians when they came in Saturday morning for our monthly meeting and find cupcakes awaiting them. In celebration of Hair Fairies birthday each location had cupcakes ready for each technician. Here in San Francisco, we had red velvet, tiramisu, smores, and dark chocolate cupcakes with cream cheese frosting. The cupcakes were purchased from a popular cupcake company called “Cakos”. It was sure delicious! Thank you Hair Fairies and to our owner, Maria Botham, for letting all the hair fairy lice removal technicians join in the celebration. Happy birthday to us and many more years to come!

Hair Salons Recommended us! Hair Fairies San Francisco

Hair Fairies San Francisco lice salon had a client call us telling us that her hair dresser found something in her hair and needed us to confirm whether or not it was head lice. When she came in, we indeed found eggs in her hair. When we asked her what salon she came from, we realized that earlier that morning, we actually called that salon to tell them about our lice treatment services. What luck?! Hair Fairies dedicates time to spreading awareness about our services to: doctors, pharmacies, schools, and salons. We want make other companies aware that there are services that can eliminate head lice for families once and for all. Usually families try to battle head lice themselves and cannot get rid of the head lice 100%.
