"Can we go back to Hair Fairies, Mom?,"  a kid asked his mother upon finishing treatment for Head Lice.  It's quite humbling and endearing to have our clients come out of this whole head lice removal experience: better educated, equipped with the true facts about head lice AND cured of their seemingly insurmountable problem. The child's mother also told us that her son didn't want to leave Hair Fairies. Apparently our toys, movies, snacks and service kept him more than content even though he was there to have lice removed.  The kid also enjoyed the different interactions with our Hair Fairies lice technicians.  His mom actually told us that they usually pass by Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment salon on their way to school in the morning and her son felt sad they weren't really coming into Hair Fairies for a visit. This leads me to our famous last words:  We really enjoyed getting to know you and hopefully you will never see us again…smiles :I

�New toys at Hair Fairies the Head Lice Helpers-San Francisco!�

Our Lovely Hair Fairy technician- Josephine brought in these cute toys for the kids to play with while we treat and or check them for head lice!  There’s a Buzz Light Year- MR. Potato Head from Disney’s Toy Story, brain Quest Game, and an all in one Doctor’s Kit toy set for kids to play doctor!  There’s also another stuffed Buzz Light year doll!  If you have the opportunity to come visit us at our Hair Fairies head lice removal salon in San Francisco, you would see a large array of DVDs, books, and magazines. We have portable DVD players for each child to watch their own movies. We have kid friendly books for the kids and Nintendo DS’s.  These new toys will help boost more excitement and playtime for the kids here at our Hair Fairies San Francisco lice removal salon!  If you have new  toys, DVDs, and games that you would like to donate, please contact the manager at your nearest Hair Fairies the Head Lice Helpers location.  We welcome these donations. Have you heard the buzz on our free head lice screening day? Well if you haven't, hear it exclusively in this blog!  On Monday April 16th, 2012 we are offering free head lice screenings for the day with a booked appointment.  Please make sure to call us and book a FREE head lice screening at any one of our locations. We seldom get a cancellation or a no show for our head lice screenings, but if you do have a booked appointment and need to cancel please call us 24 hour in advance. Our free head lice screenings are high in demand and fill in pretty quickly therefore as a courtesy to all of our clients who actually take advantage of our free head lice screenings, be aware that a late/or  a no show to your scheduled appointment will incur a $30 cancellation fee. �Smiles from an old Colleague at the Hair Fairies Lice Removal Salon in San Fransisco!�

It was great to see a familiar face coming into our establishment today!  An old Colleague of mine, Jenna AKA Chris, stopped by Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment salon to say hello and also gave us all warm hugs.  We cherish our employees and it is always nice to have them visit us once in awhile and just to catch up. And we were inwardly happy that she was just stopping by to say ‘hi’ rather than to enjoy our lice removal services!  We can say that all of the Hair Fairies who had worked with us before had a nice experience and time here. All smiles!

Hair Fairies- San Francisco New Awning!

Here yee! Here yee! Read and see all about it!  Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment salon is delighted to present you with our new Hair Fairies Awning installed just yesterday at our location.  An Awning speaks for itself!  And ours speaks, "I’m beautiful and mean business!" Our old Awning was taken down last Saturday and we have gotten 4 moms telling us how we were missing an awning.  On top of that, they didn’t know where we were without the awning. Now, clients old and new, are able to locate us when they need help with lice removal or just want to stop by and say “Hi.” Hair Fairies-San Francisco is located in the Pacific Heights neighborhood, at 2238 Fillmore Street,  between Sacramento and Clay Street.  We are right next to Le Labo- a perfumery that also focuses on natural ingredients like us!

It was a pleasure to have served many of the schools who have been inviting us to do 2 FREE Hours of Head Lice Screenings in the past few weeks!  We had a very awesome testimonial from a client (who will be nameless) on how thankful she is to have Hair Fairies come in and screen several of the classes at her school.    She states, “I cannot thank you enough for dedicating two days to our school! “Lice to meet you!” is the phrase Mike Rowe, Discovery Channel’s, “Dirty Jobs” host, used when he came to our Hair Fairies Head lice salon in San Francisco.  It was one of the most memorable experiences we had, educating the public on what we do as a full service head lice salon on TV!  The show was a hit and we have gotten a lot of calls when the show first aired. Even today, we would receive calls from Arizona, Alaska, Florida, and basically all over the United States from people who had watched the segment on lice removal. If you haven’t checked or watched Hair Fairies – the head lice helpers on Dirty Jobs on The Discovery channel, make sure you check your TV listings for Re-runs.  There were things that happened that were surprisingly good and entertaining, while educating about lice all at the same time!   In that regard, it was a very “Lice to Meet You” kind of moment!
