not the best decision

Not the best decision Have you ever made a difficult decision when you were angry, fearful, or challenged? I sure have and the results were not favorable. So did a desperate mom when she found out her son had head lice. She cut her hair and her son's thinking this was the right way of getting rid of head lice. Oh my was she wrong! When they came to our Hair Fairies lice treatment salon in CT (after learning from a friend about us) she was in tears because we told her that that was unnecessary. she didn't have to cut her or her son's hair. As we educated her she calmed down and we told her to look on the bright side: summer is coming so she won't feel as hot AND her hair will grow back quickly.

“Kiddos at Hair Fairies San Francisco do not want to leave”

We just heard the cutest and amazing thing Monday from our kiddos.  A dad asked his two kids if they were ready to leave Hair Fairies, and they said, "We don't want to leave just yet!"  We had finished their treatments 15 minutes ago and the girls were playing and watching their movies in our toy area.  We had their 2nd appointment today with the same girls and once they were cleared of Head Lice, one of them did not want to leave her chair.  She kept saying, "I don't want to leave"

Lena knew her team wanted Macadamia nuts and chocolates, and more chocolates with macadamias… so she brought back all of these for us to share!!! Fairy Kids

Fairy Kids, When treating our clients for head lice not only do we educate the parents but the kids as well. Keeping the kids in the loop is equally important to their parents. Especially if they are the ones with head lice. ….This knowledge imparted to the young ones at our salons can come in handy at times when least expected. For example one of our past clients (a girl) was spending the weekend at her friend's house. She was playing with her friend's hair when she saw something moving. At that point she asked her friend to stay still — She found nits as well after doing more investigating. She said "You have head lice. You need to go to Hair Fairies. My mom took me when I had lice. When they finish combing the eggs and bugs out you get a fancy hair style and colored fairy gel.". Thanks to her friend and Hair Fairies this young girl got the full head lice education from a seasoned young patron.

Save Me Hair Fairy

A little girl came to Hair Fairies because her school nurse had found head lice in her hair. She tells us to please help her so that she has no more bugs in her hair. As we treated her, she was drawing and coloring. When the treatment was done, she gives the working technican the drawing and says thank you. She drew a fairy and under it, wrote save me hair fairy. The same week, another little girl made us a flower which she made at home, to show her appreciation for us helping her family get rid of head lice.

Interesting Lice Facts

Dealing with head lice can be overwhelming, frustrating, even borderline traumatic for some people. There's so much to: wash, comb, and nit-pick. Throughout the process you're also doing research to better understand what has just happened. You're inundated with so much contradictory information and the list goes on. Today, I thought I'd stop you in your tracks and give you some head lice history, that although it is NOT going to help your mission of ridding your family of head lice, it will (hopefully) diffuse a little bit of the stress you're feeling. I found these 3 following facts to be quite fascinating myself. Happy reading! Did you know that: 1. Dried-up lice have been found on the hair of Egyptian mummies… 2. In northern Siberia, young women showed their affection for young men by throwing their lice at them… 3. In Tonga, it was a sign of duty to one’s parents to capture and consume their lice…
