14 years of Excellence

14 Years of Excellence  This month will be the 14th year of business for Hair Fairies Inc and our un-matched lice removal services. Maria Botham was/is a leader in this new industry and put much time and dedication to make sure that families across the Nation (and later this year overseas) have a place to go to get rid of head lice. It’s amazing what Maria and our Company have brought to families and employees over the years. I know being able to make a career out of this industry and in helping people with lice issues has been amazing adventure for Maria. Hair Fairies San Francisco lice salon had a client call us telling us that her hair dresser found something in her hair and needed us to confirm whether or not it was head lice. When she came in, we indeed found eggs in her hair. When we asked her what salon she came from, we realized that earlier that morning, we actually called that salon to tell them about our lice treatment services. What luck?! Hair Fairies dedicates time to spreading awareness about our services to: doctors, pharmacies, schools, and salons. The New School Agenda

Head lice has been such a huge epidemic in New York that school counselors have been discussing head lice with the students. Many girls explained how they previously had it and their parents had treated it but unfortunately we still found that they still had it. The school counselor asked for us to explain to the children what steps they must take in order to get fully rid of head lice. Some of the girls were pretty freaked out when we told them they had head lice, but felt a lot better once we explained that the problem could be resolved and that we have a clinical hair salon that will rid them and their families of head lice. In the picture it shows a girl saying her head is itchy, and they drew a head lice walking on her hair.

“Thanks Jessica B. and Happy B-day! ” Hair Fairies San Francisco

Look what our lovely colleague brought to work yesterday!  It was Jessica's  Birthday and a cheesecake arrived!  Over the past weekend, the team (and company) had given Jessica flowers for her bday. We like to celebrate birthdays with our Hair Fairies lice treatment salons.  We couldn't think of anything better than to give all our technicians flowers on their birthdays from Hair Fairies. It was very kind for Jessica to return the favor by bringing in the cake.  It was delish!  The strawberries were whole, fresh, and very scrumdiddlyumptious ( Charlie and the chocolate factory reference) smiles! Just because we have to remove lice doesn’t mean that we can’t enjoy having some cake and eating it too!

“Did you know we have a video tutorial for lice removal in Espanol?!”

Did you know we have a online video tutorial both in English and in Spanish?!  Even at our Head Lice salon in San Francisco, we needed the help from our video in showing clients what we do.   We had a Spanish speaking family who were in need of a head lice treatment.  The mother, daughter, and grandmother barely spoke any English…so we showed them visually from our video how to comb and use our lice products.  We also took the lap top/notebook and showed them our lice removal tutorial in Spanish while we treated the daughter.  The family was so thankful! and who knew our online tutorial would come in handy even in the salon where we remove lice firsthand!
