Our DVD collection is Growing!

    Hair Fairies can never have enough DVD movies considering our clients may have to come back a couple times for treatment. Or if they get it multiple times they return to us for treatment again. Last month, during a conversation, one of our technicians mentioned to a client (who loves us!) that her favorite movie of all time was “The Sandlot” and the client agreed it was a great movie. Last week, Hair Fairies received a package and inside was a DVD copy of the “The Sandlot” for us to add to our collection! We were thrilled that a client would actually remember and send us a copy of the movie. Now we have another movie for clients to watch and even for some of our employees who have not yet seen the movie. Thank you so much! Hair Fairies welcomes any DVD’s that families would love to donate to us. We truly do appreciate it!  Thanks for being so appreciative…

fun days

Fun Days, Having head lice is not fun, but getting rid of it can be. This is often the case here in our head lice treatment salon in CT. By the time we are finished treating the kids they don't want to leave. Consistently they want to stay and play because they get to make new friends and play with our large selection of toys. The kids get hairdoos with our fairy color gel which they love and often ask their moms to bring them BACK to have it done again. We often hear the kids say to their moms "Can you bring us here again? It was fun coming to Hair Fairies!!!

Best Customer Service Out there!!!

Best Customer Service Out There I have worked in almost every aspect of customer service out there. Most companies are challenged when it comes to customer service skills and training requirements. Working at Hair Fairies Inc. is so refreshing because they have it down to a "T" as to how clients (adults and kids) should be treated. Its second in line of importance to Hair Fairies Inc.  The first is training. Providing a comprehensive manual in which you are walked through over a 90 day period really sets the pace for success with our company. It was comforting and productive to have an outline of exactly what I should do for the client.  The only thing they ask is to put our own personal touches into the mix. There is just NO IFs, ANDs or BUGs (haha) when it comes to providing excellent customer service at Hair Fairies Inc!!!   

Girl Scouts Cookies

Girl Scouts Cookies I must say that our clients are very special here at Hair Fairies. They go out of their way and take the time to show their appreciation time and time again. We had the lovely pleasure of receiving Girl Scouts Cookies from a wonderful lady that wanted to show her appreciation to us for treating and ridding her family of head lice. I was surprised that she would come all the way here just to bring us cookies! She drove over 15 miles! I expressed my thanks in response to her saying "It is the least I could do, you guys were wonderful to me and my family".

“Thank YOu Josephine for the Home made Cookies!: Hair Fairies- San Francisco

Our lovely ex-employee, Josephine, came in to visit us and she dropped off these cookies for our team here at the Hair Fairies Lice Removal Salon in San Francisco!!!  Josephine was fabulous when she was working for Hair Fairies and her commitment shined through!!!! Josephine went on to become a baker and still works as a nurse at the hospital.  Josephine made chocolate chip cookies, and peanut butter cookies.  They were delish! Here's a picture and we will and always miss Jo's home made cookies!!!!  (pic attached!)

A Connection With Your Kids

A Connection With Your Kids Since kids are 65% of the clients we treat for lice, it’s important to Hair Fairies Inc. to build a connection with them. Each child is unique and needs to be handled differently. I have interacted with thousands of kids. Some are really friendly or shy or determined to not comply.  I find it a healthy challenge to see if I can get through to them quickly and in a fun and friendly manner. One example is: A client came in with her two boys (a 2yr old and a 9 yr old). The 9 yr. old had the same name as me! I thought this should be easy but it wasn't.  He definitely did not want me near him. For his first lice treatment he had to sit on his moms lap while his 2yr old bro was on the other leg. Kinda crowded but I worked it out haha. A week later he came in for his Guaranteed Check. I was working on another client and my Assistant Manager was schedule to check him. When he found out that I wasn't checking him, he started crying and begging his mom for me to switch!! I looked at him with tears in his eyes and asked if he really wanted me to check him. He shook his head and softly stated" Uh HUH". His mom was so grateful that we accommodated her son. He left happy and even asked if he could get a prize out of our treasure chest….PRICELESS!!!

“Come see us at: Children’s Health Expo- FREE Health Screenings and Head Lice Screenings with Hair Fairies Inc!” San Francisco

Hair Fairies San Francisco lice treatment center is happy to announce that we will be attending this year's Children's Health Expo on April 7th, 2013 at the San Francisco Adventist School- 66 Geneva Ave., San Francisco 94112 from 12 pm to 4 pm. There will be FREE Health Screenings open to the public.  Services like Dental, Vision, Speech, and Hearing will be offered from the Bay Area's Health centers.  We will have our very own Booth!  We will be offering Free Head Lice checks for children and Families.  This will mark our first participation this year with Health Expo.  Last year, the expo held Free Health checks for adults.  This time around, they are offering services to Children.  We strive to help educate the public about head lice and being proactive on Health in general which Hair Fairies believes is… Key!

Being included somewhat romantically, They'll reproduce themselves quite frantically. You'll be asked to baby-sit Their cherished offspring, nymph and nit. … Then having left their mark on you They'll move on to your sister Sue. Sharing It's OK to share, Share a toy, share a slide, Share the feelings deep inside, But never share a hat or comb, Or Lice could make your head their home!

Spring Break Blues

Spring Break Blues So I know its that time again when families are getting excited and planing their vacations. Just remember to be watchful over your kids if their going to be around other kids. Remind them again to keep their boundaries and that "Sharing is not always Caring". We want to make sure that families are able to enjoy their time together but be well aware that lice is still around. Be prepared…by using our Preventative lice products ( Prevention oil and Lice Repellent Spray). Have a safe,fun Lice Free trip!!!
