American Girl Day

A family came to New York from Connecticut to take their daughter's doll to American Girl so that beauticians from American Girl could do the doll's hair. The place is illuminated with very bright lights, and as they were looking around the store, the little girl's mom was able to see head lice crawling on her daughter's hair. The mom remembered that she received a post card from Hair Fairies in her home in Connecticut, and wondered if there was a Hair Fairies lice salon in New York. She searched google on her phone for a Hair Fairies, and was so happy that there was a Hair Fairies in Midtown. She stepped out of the store to call Hair Fairies, and was delighted to hear they had available appointments for the same day. The family came in to Hair Fairies New York to receive their first lice treatment and made an appointment to have their second treatment in their hometown Connecticut. The family was so happy that we could help them solve their lice problem in both New York City and Connecticut!

Hair Fairies is like a Spa

A young boy came to our Hair Fairies NY lice treatment salon and described us as a spa. His massage while watching a movie with fresh minty scents all around made him feel very relaxed. He told his mother that he wants to come to Hair Fairies every weekend to wind down. We at Hair Fairies strive to make families feel comfortable at all costs. Killing lice doesn’t have to be a stressful experience for anyone!I think this is test positive we are doing the job!

  Pregnant and with Lice, Lice can sometimes interfere with plans especially when your pregnant. Harsh chemicals are not a good idea in general and when you are pregnant it is especially not good. Applying anything to the scalp ensures it will go straight into the blood stream quickly if there is any kind of small cut or leisure — which is common on the scalp. Moms-Can-Do-It-Too

Moms Can Do It Too A new phenomena has started at Hair Fairies – The Head Lice Helpers. It seems all the MOMS want to work with us.  Several times a day I have been offered their extra time to come join our team. I thought at first, how weird that they would want to treat people for lice here at Hair Fairies when they didn't treat their own people LOL!. One of the moms said that she would like to learn more on the subject so she could be well educated on the LICE epidemic. I told them I would be happy to see if they were a great fit for the salon. To have more mothers here would be nice and helpful to all the other scared or uneducated parents with lice issues. So I say come on through mothers, fathers; if we can do it, You Can TOO!!!

  A Mother Enjoying The Treatment "If it weren't for the head lice, I could actually sit, relax and enjoy this treatment as if it were a spa" were the words of a mother that came to our Hair Fairies lice treatment salon in CT. Hurricane sandy

Due to the hurricane, Hair Fairies had no business or power for an entire week. We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience. Our system is still not completely back to normal, but we are open and working to help families who need help with treating lice. Hopefully by next week everything will be running smoothly. We hope no one was affected by the hurricane too badly. We are saying prayers and setting positive intentions for all. Don't worry its a care package from Hair Fairies in order to help assist you in dealing with your child's head lice. If you have received our Lunch Bags with:   -a 2 oz. shampoo or clenz cream -Free Head Lice Screening Card -Parent letter stating that your child has head lice and how to deal with it   -Business card with technicians name and specimen found on child   Please give us a call!  Your child has head lice. The new lunch Bag Program has been going exceptionally well!. We have worked with many schools and have been checking students of all age ranges.  The nice thing is it is all confidential and the children are treated with lots of care and patience.  To improve school lice screenings we now provide a Lunch Bag for the child who has been found to have head lice (during a school screening) with contents that will help with all the questions and frustrations that parents have when finding head lice on their child. Make sure you ask us about our Lunch Bag Program for your school. We also offer 2 Free hours of head lice screenings to schools!

New Fairies To Be At Hair Fairies were always hiring New, Friendly and Outgoing people. People who want to CARE, NURTURE and EDUCATE our clients.  To become one of our famous Hair Fairy technicians you are always ready to learn, be on your feet, interact, MULTI-TASK and willing to go the distance.  We have found just three people who meet that criteria here at Hair Fairies Chicago lice treatment salon. It has been a pleasure to train and open our doors to them.  Each brings their own personal best and pleasant character into the salon. Mistakes are bound to happen, but being able to bounce back from a mistake is the key to success. I would love to say thank you to Christine, Monika and Nick for making my job easier!!!   Happy Halloween!!! Halloween is near and there is lots of excitement in the air of dressing up, neat decorations and candy everywhere for this special holiday. Here at Hair Fairies lice treatment salon in CT we have the pleasure of working with kids that love our Halloween decor and also share with us what they were going to wear for this fantastic occasion. I must say that from what I've heard there will be a lot of Zombies this year. At Hair Fairies CT lice salon, we love to hear the kids stories and what they have to say. Happy Halloween everyone!!!
